  Chuck replied that they had confirmation to do the work...he is definitely incorrect in that statement as no formal confirmation was given to his office. He said we were present throughout all repairs...again he is definitely incorrect as we were not there throughout all repairs. He said that he proceeded as any licensed electrical contractor would...not according to some people we talked with (after the fact, of course). Next time we will do our homework. Be very aware

  We had a very bad result in our dealings with MCNAIR ELECTRIC. Due to electrical problems caused by tree damage at our cottage we asked Chuck McNair for an ‘estimate’ only (which was vague in detail) and we did not give approval for him to do the work as we were looking at other contractor quotes. We left numerous emails and phone calls to get further details and did not hear back from Chuck…HOWEVER, he went ahead and did the work without our approval and charged three times higher than what our neighbour paid for the same work by another contractor.

  i have had chuck mcnair electric perform work on my house on 4 different electrical jobs over the last few years, 2 of which were time sensitive. i have been extremely pleased with the professional, prompt and courteous service from each of the employees (steve, mitch, brodie, keith,)who performed the work at my home. they were receptive to my ideas but i also asked for and welcomed their valuable input, which their experience and suggestions saved me from having to make changes after the work was completed. i was also very happy with the clear, concise communication via e-mail and phone at the various stages of my projects. thanks so much, steve

  Always a pleasure doing business with Chuck McNair Electric. They have prompt and courteous service, and get the job done quickly. One of his employees came out immediately in very bad weather to fix our generator that did not start - and would have left us without power for days! Got to enjoy the cottage for the weekend thanks to McNair Electric. Would highly recommend!
